The Millennium Declaration, is a series of United Nations global conferences
and summits held in the 1990s and the United Nations conventions and treaties established a number of interconnected and mutually reinforcing goals,
targets and obligations for progressively eradicating poverty and hunger and for improving the quality of life, mostly to be achieved by 2015, and
enjoyment of rights of all individuals.

The indicators contained in this database reflect a balanced representation of key goals and provide an entry
point into the areas covered by the mandates of United Nations system organizations embodied in the Millennium Declaration.This was developed as part
of the UN Common Country Assessment for the current cycle
